Terms and conditions

In the network area of Kymenlaakson Sähkö Oy, we apply to our contracts the valid general terms of electricity supply in the industry, and in the area of other distribution system operators we apply the general terms of electricity sales.

According to the Consumer Protection Act, the withdrawal period of a contract drawn up in distance selling (e.g. over the phone or internet) is 14 days from drawing up the contract. Please note that the withdrawal period starts immediately, for example, after the end of a phone call. The contract can be cancelled, e.g. by email.

Any disputes arising from the contract shall be settled through negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be settled through negotiation, the consumer may bring the matter before the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) for resolution. The consumer must be in contact with the Consumer Advisory Service of the Local Register Offices (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi) before bringing the matter before the Consumer Disputes Board.
