Power distribution outages may be notified to our fault service, which operates every day of the year, day and night. You can report disruptions by calling to us: 05 7780 222.

Always notify our fault service about fault locations. Remember not to touch trees that have fallen on power lines or do not start removing them yourself.  Nor should you touch power lines lying on the ground, as they pose a danger to life. You must keep a 20-metre safety zone around trees leaning on lines and lines hanging close to the ground.

Power cut notifications by text message

When your electricity metering point is within our network area, you are notified of any malfunctions by text message direct to your phone or email.

Under the Electricity Market Act, the consumer has the right to standard compensation if his metering point has been without power continuously for a minimum period of 12 hours.
