When a property is sold, the electricity connection agreement is not automatically transferred to the new owner. It is recommended that the transfer of the electricity connection agreement is specified in the deed of sale so that a separate transfer document is not required.
When terminating the electricity contracts related to the connection as the property seller, please inform us at the same time about the transfer of the connection to the new owner. If necessary, we may request a copy of the deed of sale or other documentation verifying the transfer of the connection
In connection with the ownership transfer, we will conclude a new connection agreement with the new owner to replace property’s previous agreement. No new connection fee will be charged for this agreement. The new owner must also conclude an electricity supply contract for the property with the electricity retailer of their choice.
