The Customer pays a consumption fee at the connection points of the grid on the basis of the direct or indirect electricity consumption related to the Customer’s network.

The consumption on which the consumption fee is based is determined on the basis of the electricity flowing at the Customer’s connection point, the possible import and export of electricity beyond the Customer’s connection point, and the net production of power plants.
The Customer pays the fee for output from the grid on the basis of the amount of electricity flowing through the connection points of the grid.

The Customer pays a capacity fee for all power plants that are either directly or indirectly connected to the Customer’s electricity network that exceed the net electrical power of 1 MW determined with Commission Regulation (EU) 543/2013. The capacity fee for power plants is charged to the power plants behind the Customer’s connection point on the basis of the net electricity capacity declared by the Customer.

Our invoicing of the power charge for electricity storage facilities complies with Fingrid’s application guidelines. The power charge applies to electricity storage facilities whose production or consumption capacity is at least 1 MW.
